For Polygon’s E3 2014 Editors’ Choice Awards, we followed these guidelines: first, games must be in a playable state, though this could be in the form of a “behind closed doors” demo, which are builds of titles not available for play to E3 attendees; second, this must be the first time a game is playable at E3 — meaning games we’ve previously acknowledged with our Editors’ Choice picks are ineligible.
E3 2014 is here, and even if you’re not in Los Angeles, there will be plenty to watch as it happens. Companies like Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony, Electronic Arts and Ubisoft will be broadcasting their latest and greatest reveals, showcasing game returning to E3 and things we’ve never seen before. What follows is a list of the events you can watch and the games you can see live from E3.
We’ll have news hitting as it breaks, all of which you can see right here.
In addition to livestreams of press conferences and other big E3 2014 events, Polygon will stream pre-show and post-show video with reaction to all the news. We’re also going to be showing gameplay footage and video interviews throughout the week, including appearances by a huge list of games, some embargoed surprises and a bunch of special guests.
